Work of the Committee
The Committee of Privileges is established by Standing
Order 12.
Its function is to inquire into and report on complaints of
breach of privilege which may be referred to it by the Speaker or
by the House.
The quorum of the Committee is 3 members. The Committee has
power to act during a parliamentary recess.
