In today's update, the accumulative
statistics as at end of Saturday, 9 July, are as follows:

17 new cases

3,822 active cases

237 tests done yesterday (Sat, 9 July)

14,151 tests done this outbreak

2,402 cases recovered
-
10 cases admitted to the hospital Acute Care Unit with an
additional 3 carers
- 4 patients with moderate cases
- 6 patients with mild or no COVID symptoms but have underlying
illness
-
1 death (accumulative)

0 critical cases
-
0 ventilation
-
158 houses in lockdown with 1,730 residents.

19 occupants in the quarantine facility (Budapest)
Yesterday's test results equate to
seven per cent or approximately one in eight results being
positive, further decreasing the ratio of positive cases. Positive
tests collected this outbreak is 32 per cent of all tests.
Community effort is essential to
collectively reduce the spread of COVID and protect the vulnerable
from contracting the virus.
Practice good hygiene. Always wash
your hands with soap and water, wear a mask, keep your distance,
and keep houses well ventilated.
Sixty children aged 5-11 received
their first dose yesterday (Sat, 9 July), taking the total to
1,089. Forty three per cent of this group has received their first
dose.
The vaccination station in Aiwo
Boulevard and Public Health is closed today (Sun, 10 July) but will
resume tomorrow. With the current soft lockdown in place, Public
Health teams will set up vaccination stations for the 5-11 age
group in districts and will conduct house to house vaccination
visits.
Parents and guardians are
encouraged to bring children who are able to get vaccinated sooner
rather than later.
Drive-through testing stations are
closed today, Sunday 10 July but will reopen tomorrow.
