Step 3 measures remain in place - that means you must still wear a mask in public places, including restaurants, meeting places, office, schools, parks, at social gatherings, and keep your distance of 1.5 metres. But if you are traveling alone in your car or your passengers are people you live with in the same house, you don't need to mask up.

His Excellency President Lionel Aingimea remembers the people of the Republic of the Marshall Islands as their country grapples with the spread of COVID in the community.

President Aingimea communicated Nauru's thoughts and prayers for the government and people of RMI in a recent conversation with RMI's President David Kabua.

The RMI has a 70 per cent vaccination rate and over the past two days there have been 65 positive cases and one COVID-related death.

The public is reminded that wearing a mask, sanitising, hand washing and social distancing are vital steps and efficient ways of reducing the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

If you have symptoms, stay home until you are tested.

Please practice hand hygiene, wear a mask, keep your distances, avoid crowding and keep houses well ventilated.

If you are self-testing at home please call 192 to report your result or visit the link below.

Numbers 191 and 192 are both operational if you would like to enquire or request for assistance.

Register your self-test RAT result with 192 or go online at   https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/0c233d5e98a44d7b942fbeb161c245df

If you test positive you must isolate at home for at least 13 days (10 days for essential workers) and follow protocols for ending isolation.
