As of Monday 27 June, 522 children ages 5-11 received their vaccination. The vaccination station for this group is at Aiue Boulevard. Get your child vaccinated.  All children should receive their second dose three to four weeks after the 1st dose.

Testing stations at the Tigers and Blues ovals, and Naoero Public Health are open.

Public Health is still conducting home visits for testing. Call 191 if you need to be tested.

The public is encouraged to get tested so we can follow whether the cases continue to rise or slowing down. Please get tested if you have symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, running nose etc., or have been in close contact with a positive case.

If you have tested positive before, you don't need to be tested again. But you must follow advice from public health and Taskforce on 13 days isolation until you are cleared for three days.

Those who have access to Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) please call 192 to register your results. Always wear a mask.

Special measures for COVID cases who are Essential workers have been put in place.

Essential services are Health Department, Nauru Police Force, Utilities, Bendigo Bank, Digicel, Eigigu Supermarket, Capelle & Partner, some restaurants, caterers and certain departments.

  • These entities will designate specific (essential) workers that need to physically attend work to ensure services continue
  • Essential workers are permitted to leave isolation/home temporarily for work purposes
  • Essential workers must travel either alone or with other essential workers. The travel must only be made between isolation/home and work. No other stops in between
  • Workspace must be distanced or physically separated from the public and other workers
  • Must work alone or with other essential workers who are COVID cases or have fully recovered from COVID, and must remain in their designated workspace
  • Essential workers are able to end isolation after 10 days if they have not had COVID symptoms or if their symptoms have resolved by day 7 and have waited 3 days without symptoms
  • Be reminded that you must have a negative RAT test before ending isolation
  • Please adhere to these special measures in place
