Presidential delegation cleared
of COVID-19 after PCR testing
His Excellency President Lionel
Aingimea and four members of the presidential delegation took a PCR
test for COVID-19 yesterday evening and all returned negative
results this morning, 3 March.
The testing was prompted following
close contact with officials who later tested positive to COVID-19
while on official meetings in Australia.
President Aingimea was accompanied
to the event by four other Nauru officials.
Every precaution is taken to ensure
the Presidential delegation is safe from COVID-19.
