Another two asylum seeker groups have arrived in Nauru over the past few days (31 August and 2 September) on board a chartered flight of Nauru's national carrier Our Airline, from Christmas Island.

The fourth family group that arrived on Saturday 31 August, primarily of Iranian and Lebanese nationality consisted of seven adult females, five adult males, and 14 children.

A group of 12 single adult males departed on the outbound flight the same day to Australia.

The group that arrived yesterday (2 September) consisted of 43 single adult males of mixed nationalities and were taken to the second site of the Regional Processing Centre (RPC 2).

Like previous arrivals both groups completed brief immigration formalities before boarding mini-buses to take them to the Topside centre.

The transfers from aircraft to Topside were without incident.
