His Excellency David W.R. Adeang was re-elected President of the Republic of Nauru on 14 October 2025 for a second consecutive term. The president of Nauru is the Head of Government and Head of State and is elected by 18 members of parliament, excluding the Speaker who is the 19^th MP.
