Information about the president's office
His Excellency David Ranibok Adeang was elected President of the
Republic of Nauru on 30 October 2023. The president of Nauru is the
Head of Government and Head of State and is elected by 18 members
of parliament, excluding the Speaker who is the 19th MP.
The president is the Chairman of the Cabinet, and minister
responsible for the Public Service, Finance & Sustainable
Development, Multicultural Affairs, Eigigu Holdings Corporation,
Eigigu Solutions Corporation and Nauru RPC Corporation.
